Congratulations Amanda Clark, CMP, DES – Star of the 3rd Quarter 2021!
To recognize members who have given that “extra effort” as an active member of our chapter, the Member Recognition team established the “PCMA Volunteer of the quarter” a few years ago.
As part of the Communications Committee, Amanda’s key responsibilities are writing and/or editing Chatter articles; however, Amanda took on an even heavier load than her usual offerings acting as Spark Champion as well as writing the Q3 Spark Recap, volunteering as back-up issue editor, and of most notably, spearheading the final submission of this year’s DEI Article Series. She co-owned a full year DEI series of articles with Mark Harvey which required more thorough research than lighter member focused features. Her deep dive work on the DEI series of articles brought needed focus to a key chapter strategic initiative as well as provided a valuable and timely resource for all members on a topic of true importance. When Amanda volunteers for something, she never does the bare minimum.
In addition to the Communications committee, Amanda provides equally impressive support to other Chapter committees. As a past committee chair, Amanda has provided us with invaluable support, advice and input not just this quarter but throughout the entire year.
Congratulations, Amanda on being awarded the PCMA Capital Chapters Third Quarter 2021 shining Star!
