PCMA Capital Chapter’s Emerging Professionals Committee (EPC) is dedicated to the delivery of superior and innovative education and professional development opportunities to students and professionals with 0-5 years of experience.
Mentorship
The Capital Chapter offers a robust mentoring program where like-minded industry professionals can join one-on-one and make a difference. The goals of the program are to:
- Help increase confidence, knowledge and industry connections for protégés and mentors
- Foster interpersonal growth and self-enrichment
- Provide opportunity for mentors to give back and be more involved on a smaller scale
- Build the PCMA and meeting planning community

University Outreach
The EPC is very active in visiting our local universities and creating relationships between students, professors, and PCMA. We are always looking for professionals to step into the classroom and enhance the student experience and speak about PCMA. Next Generation Task Force
The mission of the PCMA Capital Chapter NextGen Task Force is to identify current needs of next gen (30 and under) members, facilitating awareness of networking and engagement opportunities for members in the early stages of their career.
