Expectations vs Reality
It will have been 6 months since COVID-19 caused a major shift in our industry. Events cancelled and many shifted to virtual. Making the transition to virtual happened quickly and in many cases there was a huge learning curve for planners. AV companies also pivoted to to assist with the increased demand for live-streaming. And sponsors had to adjust and evaluate if their stake in events would be profitable. Today we will take a look back at the last few months to see what lessons we’ve learned.
