As the events industry, along with the rest of the world, learns how to move forward in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, the PCMA Capital Chapter is ready to Bounce Back! No only in our event planner/supplier community, but as individuals shaping our future. Join us for the Mid-Year Spark event as we explore topics such as mindfulness, rebuilding, and virtual technology. Let’s take what we’ve learned from the pandemic and make the Events Industry even stronger than before.

In this motivational talk, Cara shares behind the scenes disasters and victories that show how an unlikely team can reach past doubts and fears to do the extraordinary. This story of grit and determination pushes audiences to tackle hard things. We hope her message will inspire us as we rebuild our industry from the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Panelists: Moderator: Shameka Jennings, National Coalition of STD Directors The leap to virtual events moved very quickly over the last few months. Planners shifted strategies, content format, pricing structures and sponsorship and exhibitor agreements to make the transition happen. AV and other technology providers expanded their virtual offerings to fit the needs. As our industry bounces back it’s time to evaluate our recent successes and failures to strategically move forward. This panel of both planners and suppliers will explore these shifts to find out what we’ve learned and how events will look in the future.
