The Professional Convention Management Association Capital Chapter Moves to Interel Group
Washington, D.C., December, 2017 – The Interel Group is pleased to announce its selection by the Professional Convention Management Association – Capital Chapter (PCMA Capital Chapter) for full service staffing and management. The PCMA Capital Chapter has been dedicated to inspiring the Business Events community with senior level networking and educational opportunities globally. As the largest PCMA chapter with over 1,500 members from Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C., the PCMA Capital Chapter is known for its innovative and thought-provoking educational programming; caring and impactful community outreach initiatives; high energy networking events; engaging sponsorship opportunities and rewarding mentorship programs focused on the meetings and convention profession.
Services have begun with PCMA Capital Chapter transitioning its offices to its new headquarters at Interel’s Tysons Corner, Virginia office. PCMA Capital Chapter staff includes Managing Director Bea Tijerina, MBA long-standing PCMA member who has previously served as the Account Manager for the Capital Chapter. Ms. Tijerina oversees the delivery of all services to PCMA Capital Chapter from Interel.
